Prayer for Salvation
If you’ve never received Jesus as your Savior and Lord, you can do it today. The following prayer is the one I prayed and the one I led Asif (my brother) in praying. Pray it now from your heart and your life both in the here and now, and in the hereafter, will be forever changed:
“Father God, I come before You admitting that I’m a sinner, and I ask your forgiveness. I thank You for sending Jesus to the cross to pay the penalty for my sin. I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is Your Son. I believe that He died on the cross, rose again and now sits at Your right hand. I receive Him now as my Lord and Savior. Heavenly Father, please come into my heart and change me. I will serve You for the rest of my life. I pray this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.”
